Analysis of the characteristics and use of sand making machines

The rod grinder is a horizontal barrel rotating device, with an outer gear drive, two barrels. Rod grinder structure characteristics: by the motor through the gearbox and the surrounding big gear deceleration transmission or by the low-speed synchronous motor directly through the surrounding big gear deceleration drive, driving the cylinder swing. The barrel is equipped with a suitable grinding medium – a steel rod. The grinding medium is raised to a certain height under the influence of centrifugal force and friction, and falls in a state of fall or fall. The grounded material is continuously entered into the inside of the barrel from the feed port, crushed by the moving grinding medium, and the product is discharged from the machine by overflow and continuous mineralization force for the next process operation.

There are approximately three uses for rod grinders:

  • (1) Tungsten tin ore and other rare metal ore re-selection or magnetic selection plant, in order to prevent the damage caused by overcrushing, often use rod grinding;
  • (2) When using two-stage grinding process, if the first segment is from 20 to 6 mm grinding to 3 to 1 mm, the use of rod grinding for the first grinding equipment, the production capacity is larger, the bar grinder efficiency is also higher. Because the bar load of a certain weight is much smaller than the surface area of the same weight ball load, so when the second fine grinding, the bar grinding is lower than the productivity and efficiency of the ball grinding;
  • (3) In some cases can replace the short-head cone mining machine for fine shredding. When dealing with softer or less rigid ores (especially those with high viscosity), grinding 19-mdash; 25 mm (or even 32 mm) ore with a rod to 6-mdash; 10 pieces, it is simpler to configure, cost less, and can reduce the dust removal of the workshop with a short-headed conical miner and sieve. For hard ores, a closed-circuit approach with a short-headed cone mining machine and a sieve may be more economical.
